How does editing existing text actually work?
PDFs don't store text as an editable paragraph the way a Word document does. "Edit Text" finds the whole line you clicked — including the spaces between words — covers it with a white patch the same size, and draws your replacement text over it in the font, size and colour you choose. Unlike some browser-based PDF editors, we then rebuild the whole page from that composite so the original text is genuinely removed from the file, not just hidden underneath.
Can I delete or rotate pages?
Yes — "Rotate Page" cycles the current page 90° at a time (applied when you export), and "Delete Page" removes it from the output. Neither changes anything until you hit Export.
Can I zoom in while editing?
Yes — use the Zoom In/Out/Reset buttons, or pinch-to-zoom on a touchscreen. Anything you've already drawn, typed or placed moves and resizes with the zoom, so it stays exactly where you put it.
Is this as powerful as Adobe Acrobat?
No, and we'd rather be upfront about that. Acrobat can rewrite the actual text inside a PDF in its original font. A free browser tool can't do that — instead, an edited page is fully rebuilt as one flattened image so your change is real and permanent, while pages you don't touch keep their original, fully selectable text untouched. For adding, replacing, or removing text and images, reordering or rotating pages, and drawing or highlighting, it covers the same ground; for things like form-filling or digital signatures, it doesn't.
Can I edit a full sentence, or just single words?
Both — use the "Single word" / "Whole sentence" toggle above the page. In word mode, clicking picks out exactly the word under your cursor; in sentence mode, clicking anywhere on a line selects the entire line, spaces included, so you can edit precisely where you want either way.
Can I add my own images or a logo?
Yes — pick "Add Image" and choose a photo; it's dropped onto the center of the page automatically, then you can drag it to reposition and use the width slider to resize it.
